1st December World AIDS Day was commemorated at St. Anne’s School Orlem Malad (w).
It was jointly organized by Orlem Youth Group with ACI. The program was followed by

» ICEM (information, communication, education material ) was given to    the audience.
» The Red Ribbon symbol of AIDS AWARENESS is worn by people to    demonstrate care and support about HIV/AIDS.
» Information about the diseases was given through dance,    sequences and song.
» Slide show was presented to educate the people about HIV/AIDS    and the devastating result of HIV/AIDS in some of the African countries.
» Ramp show was also organized to boost the confidence of    infected children.

Awareness program was conducted in the Ayureveda College in Vasai and Rutumbhera College of saputara.

Aids awareness program was organized at FIRST SOURCE COMPANY LTD, MIND SPACE MALAD (w) . (DR. Trivedi gave talk on the diseases. 50 people attended the program. A presentation was made for the audiences. Various aspects like – Discovery of virus, modes of transmission , how it is not transmitted , symptoms of HIV/AIDS, treatment of HIV/AIDS infected patients were covered during the presentation. 10 minutes interaction was kept after the program. Myths and misconnects about HIV/AIDS were discussed.
AN HIV infected lady spoke to the audience about “life after infection (with HIV)”

Regular activities: ART were supplied to 25 HIV infected children. Nutritional support to 17 HIV positive widows Home Based Care to patient Follow ups and counseling of the patients.

Awareness program was conducted in Wadia School.

Awareness program was conducted for the staff of ASSEL WORLD

Diwali festival was celebrated with the children.

Children were taken to Oberoi Mall in Goregaon on Children’s Day.
